Dahlia Rizk, LMHC, LCMHC | Trauma Therapist in MA & NH
There are therapists who understand trauma. There are business consultants who understand business. Very few understand both from the inside.
I've spent 19 years treating trauma, anxiety, and what pressure does to people — and I've personally lived through building multi-million dollar companies from nothing, inventing products, and raising a family alone.
I've had days where I closed deals, counseled clients, and then sat in my car wondering why I couldn't turn my brain off or enjoy my life and relationships.
I know what it's like to be exactly where you are — building something real while quietly wondering why it feels like you are coming apart. That's not something you can learn in a textbook. It's why I actually get it, not just clinically, but personally.
How I Work
Prolonged Exposure Therapy
PE is the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for PTSD. Over 10-15 structured sessions, PE works by systematically understanding and relearning avoidance while helping you process traumatic memories so they become ordinary memories instead of triggers. Prolonged Exposure is not open-ended talk therapy. It is an effective step by step protocol with a clear beginning, middle, and end.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
For clients who want to move quickly toward a specific goal, SFBT identifies what is already working in your life and builds systematically from there. SFBT is perfect for clients dealing with anxiety, high-functioning stress, and burnout who want structured, results-oriented progress.
Who I Work With
I work with adults who look like they have it all together on the outside and are struggling on the inside.
My clients are professionals, founders, executives, healthcare workers, parents, people struggling with current social and political events, and caregivers who have built demanding lives and are skilled at holding it together in front of others.
People come into therapy with the stacked weight of experiences that were never fully processed, and feeling exhausted, struggling to be present, or with the feeling that something is always slightly wrong even when life looks fine.
