How Private Pay Works
Going out of network gives you what insurance can’t: choice in who you work with and how the work happens.

You pick the therapist who fits your needs, not the one your plan happens to cover.

Your story stays between us. There's diagnosis in your medical record or shared records with insurance. This matters when you work in finance, law, medicine, or run your own company.
How Superbilling Works
A superbill is an itemized receipt for therapy. You pay directly at each session and I send you a superbill at the end of the month. You submit the superbill to your insurance company and they reimburse you based on your out of network benefits, usually 50 to 80 percent of the session cost. (Call your insurance company before starting to know exactly what to expect).
Questions to Ask Your Insurance Company
Call member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
